| Bio: | I was raised by two super cool intellectual hippee parents and grew up hiking, camping, and getting dirty all over the northwest. I love the outdoors and treasure the memory of the 9 years my Mom and Dad were married. After they split up they each got involved with other people over the years and I total my parental figures up to 1 father, 1 stepdad, 1 mother, and 2 stepmothers. I also have 2 stepbrothers and consider all of these people family. I went from living in nearly all white artsy Fremont to Rainier Beach with a black stepmom and stepbrother. I learned to play basketball, to dance (really dance), and much more. There were many hardships and benefits that have come from living in wildly different cultural contexts that have contributed to who I am now. That's the short version of growing up. To this day I love to move and explore new places as well as to travel, by which I mean visiting a place for 2 weeks at a time. I haven't done much travel outside the U.S. but I hope to change that in the near future. To wrap this up, I'm a tomboy but I manage to wear dresses and put up my hair now and then. I'm bi and have always partnered with men cuz they're easier to meet and it just worked out that way. I'm poly and am happy to discuss my attitudes about open relationships and my particular style and approach with folks that are genuine in their interest on the subject and respectful. I try to be honest and loyal with friends and lovers, though if I feel disrespected repeatedly my loyalty will fade. I value intelligence, emotional maturity, and sexual appeal equaly in my lovers, and the first two with my friends. I'm a libertarian in many ways with a few socialist leanings and enjoy discussing politics. I'm a vegetarian and a health nut, but I'm not militant about either. When it comes to health and diet I can be arrogant about my conclusions and I try to be aware of this and respectful. I love hard sciences, math, art, and consider myself a little bit of a renaissance woman though I need to pursue things more fully to really claim that title. And that's a good start for a brief rundown on myself. | |
